September 2009 marked the beginning of the All Hallows Sixth Form College link with Collegio Arcivescovile (LIA), Italy. The school is situated in the northern region of Trentino in the town of Rovereto, which is a short distance from the popular resort of Lake Garda and the city of Verona. It is a language school catering for around 150 students and in the fourth year of their studies, approximately 25 Italian students spend a year at All Hallows studying a range of subjects at AS Level. This is an exciting time for the College to share and develop our international links.
LIA has as its aim an all round cultural education focusing on the formation of students as individuals. It is a school traditionally characterised by its international attitude, aiming at building free-minded, individual citizens able to make responsible choices. Although proficient in English the aim of the year is for the students to improve their language skills and share in the cultural experience of life at All Hallows and in the UK.
